Philips Media typo on Karaoke Volume 1 (Dutch)
In fact, when we inserted Karaoke Volume 1 (Dutch) Long Box version, we noticed an error.
At the back of the box it is written 8100069 but at the side, disc and ring, it is 8140069.
It is absolutely normal to be a 814**** like number as it is a Dutch title.
The jewel case of the same title is just fine, you will see 8140069 everywhere.
With the KLIK unreleased title information, we finally discovered the title that actually use the 8100069 catalogue number.
So, there is a typo from Philips Media with Karaoke Volume 1 (Dutch) Long Box version.
DjKoelkast took some pictures to confirm this fact. I also want to thanks Rosewood and RetroMan for being actively available for any help we may need about this and other subjects.
KLIK the unreleased kids CD-i game!
Thanks to Mike Stancliffe who shared the disc picture at Philips / Magnavox CD-i Collectors Club Facebbok Group, we can now enjoy screenshots of KLIK.
This is an educational title that will help your kids to learn words from different countries with the help of images and animations. Using pictures form the Canadian Éditions Rényi who made several dictionaries full of pictures for children, and published by the Italian Sidac S.p.A, you are able to choose between several languages as:
English (US), English (UK), French, Italian, German, Spanish (European) and Spanish (Latino-american).
This unreleased title from 1992 got his last version with the Testing Phase 2 at 1.02 on April 25 1994. With those 2 dates, we can see how long it took to reach this title build version.
Alan_CDiZone, our titles informer also do have this one, so we will get some more screenshots to add in the future.
New Title Addition – Swiss Riviera
Swiss Riviera or “La Riviera Vaudoise” in Swiss CD-i title for tourists.
This title in the first one form an unknown number guides collection.
We still can’t define it is a free disc from a Magazine, or if it was a gift from the Swiss National Tourist Office.
You already know the other Swiss title Swiss Click, but both titles haven’t anything to see between them.
The person responsible for the title, Pierre Georges Penel, died in 2003 aged 56. We are still looking a way to contact other people who worked in this title to define if more CD-i titles are included in this guide collection.
About this specific disc, as told before, this is a pure touristic title about a specific Swiss region. The other titles may talk about other Swiss regions (if they do exist).
You can choose between French, English, German and Italian right at the start before the main menu.
There are a lot of videos, even if no Digital Video Cartridge is needed, but they are all windowed and pretty small.
All you need to know about the Swiss Riviera is right here! Restaurants, Hotels, what to visit, etc…
Tons of pictures, videos and audio will help you to prepare your next travel to this Swiss area.
Thanks to digger2 (our website member) who sent the original copy to us, we will soon make an exclusive video of this title.
