| Description | This CD-i disc has 400 questions and answers to help any keen sailor, yachtsman or boardsailor learn to sail to win. There are three modes of operation, a Game between two players or teams, Knowledge Check where the user has to answer questions from a chosen category, and Rules Index for going straight to questions on a known rule.
Sail to win! is an ideal aid for sailors of all standards. However, truly competitive yatchsmen should use it in conjunction with the 1993-1996 International Yatch Racing Rules on which many of its questions have been based. (The disc is not a substitute for the IYRU Rulebook and may not be relied upon in any issue concerning interpretation of the Rules.) 100 animation sequences augment the audio, photographs and screen text to give clear and concise questions and answers to even the trickiest of manoeuvres. Under the auspices of the IYRU Racing Rules Committee, the questions have been produced by International Judges and Umpires. |
