hello Boys and Girls,

I´m new to the CDI. I´m a fan of the old Commodore Computers C64 and Amiga.

A long time i thought there is no need of an CDI, but there were some Titles like Maddog and Burn Cycle i would like to play.

So i just bought an 660 Professional but when it arrives its laser is defective.

But meanwhile i replaced it with a new one and the fun can begin.

Hi Jehuty,

Could you please discribe the issues you had with you 660 ? Mine is doing funny things as well and I do not know where it comes from.

It was the Laser. The CDI did not read any CD. First tried to adjust the Laser pot but with that it read the Top Gun movie one Time and than nothing more.

Found a dealer here in germany that sells spareparts. Just soldered the cables to the new one and it reads CDs fine.

The memory battery is ok one mine.
