I think there the single quote character (') is not escaped as appropriate, because:

• L'Ange et le Démon = not working (https://www.theworldofcdi.com/?s=L%27Ange+et+le+D%C3%A9mon)
• Ange et le Démon = working (https://www.theworldofcdi.com/?s=Ange+et+le+D%C3%A9mon)
• Queensland – Australia's Sunshine State = not working (https://www.theworldofcdi.com/?s=Queensland+%E2%80%93+Australia%27s+Sunshine+State)
• Queensland – Australia s Sunshine State = working (https://www.theworldofcdi.com/?s=Queensland+%E2%80%93+Australia+s+Sunshine+State)

Please note this single quote (’) works but not this one (') and this is on our keyboards.
