Antonio Vega – Océano de Sol is the very first Spanish album using Digital Video on CD-i.
Thanks to Blazers we can now have a look at the covers. This video music title was free back in 1994 as it was sponsored by Passport Scotch.
It is also the first time we can see the Digital Video Cartridge logo stamped on the disc, a very cool detail.
This disc is a CD-i Ready title, so it also can be playable on any audio CD player.
New Addition – Bell Atlantic®
Blazers sent to us another extremely rare CD-i title:
Bell Atlantic®
More info will be shared by Blazers about this professional title used as Electronic Directory, produced by CapDisc.
Thank you Blazers!
Chronicle #33: Les Schtroumpfs – Le Téléportaschtroumpf – Review
The World of CD-i Chronicles #33
Les Schtroumpfs – Le téléportaschtroumpf
A few days after we received the covers of Les Schtroumpfs – Le Téléportaschtroumpf from Testsuoshima, we received from Seventy7 with the help of Blazers a copy of the game. The perfect opportunity to review it.
Of course, most of you know them as “The Smurfs” (USA), or “De Smurfen” (The Netherlands).
Console Purist Chronicles comes to an end
After 33 chronicles wrote, the deal between Console Purist and The World of CD-i comes to an end.
It should continue until the end of 2020 but new event changed everything. I have been hired by a retro printed magazine to write about CD-i and with what they need, I will not have time to keep both projects at the same time.
I want to thank you Stacy Burn for the opportunity of spreading the CD-i in his group.
This partnership may return in the future, but for now, it really have to stop.
I will not stop writing reviews, but it will not happen every week.
More news about the upcoming magazine in a few days.
I am sure you will love what is coming…!
For now, enjoy the last Console Purist Chronicle, the #33, available during the day.
Thank you to ALL OF YOU for reading them!
